watching the sun rise

i'm still in byron bay, and despite the chilled out appearance this place may have, i'm having a hectic time.
student houses party a lot.
and i mean a lot.
I'm having fun, but i know i should probably move on soon.
I'd like to head south towards newy, but make a stop somewhere along the way.
not sure how it'll all go, but i do need to get back soon, i know that.
not overly keen to settle into something just yet, but we'll see how to goes.
plan is to go home, do some work while i look for a place to move into, then move there.
should be alright.
so... umm, to justify this as a travel blog i'll jot down what ive been up to...
callum has some friends who live in a place not far from here, so most nights we've been there drinking. australia day was good, nice BBQ and beach. ive been beaching it a bit, and out meeting people, made a couple of random friends which was cool.
the life style here is pretty awesome, tiring though... well for me anyway.
i need lunch, write again soon, hopefully with a date im leaving and a place to go.

the life of byron

hello hello my friends and family!
i'm happy to say that im far far far away from snow and cold now, and currently residing on the beautiful, sun bathed, beachy shores of byron bay... well, about a 10 minute walk from them.
Over the last week, i think about thursday, i went to sydney for a couple of days. Laura was wedding dress shopping, so kicked it 'round there for a couple of days. Got to see a mates band play in new town which was pretty cool.
Anyway, got back saturday, went out, got home, packed, left sunday night for newcastle, went to a CS bbq, then caught the over-night bus to byron bay.
10 hours of driving and a few attempts at sleep later and i'd arrived.
Staying with Cal atm.
the student houses here are craaaazy.
fun fun fun.
not sure when i get back, but enjoying beaching it and chilling while i can.
next step is home, then moving out, then uni.
yesterday was Australia day, and in the aussie spirit lots of drinking and snags on the barbie were involved.
hope everyone had a good time.
not sure when i'll be back, maybe next week.
recording time coming up so have to be back for that.
